A little follow up to the previous spring rate charts.
As some of you have seen before, I have measured every single spring I have found in my tool box on a spring tester.
Some of these springs were never tested before, and were even some that i accidentally had ordered wrong etc.
When you look at the charts, you see that there are some springs that are quite equal to others somewhere in the compression rate.
This transits directly to the feeling on the track.
From this I have found that I can fine tune my front setup much more than before. I can now just look at the chart, and pick a spring set from that maybe are a bit harder in the mid compression but have the same hardness as a softer one initially etc.
I really can recommend measuring your springs to see how they really compares to each other. Not only to find the real rates, but also because the spring rates really differs quite a lot from set to set.
These charts really helps me a lot when I work on my setup.
I now frequently use AWD ProII springs on my MR-03 that have the same initial hardness as the MR-02 spring of choice, but are just a littlebit harder further down in the compression.
For those of you that hasn't seen the charts, here they are again.
