Lap-Z, our beloved Mini-Z timing system has been rumored to be discontinued. I have from a reliable source that production will start up again soon.
The relaunch are also said to be followed up with some interesting new features.
For those of you that have been racing Mini-Z for a decade, you know this was the first system dedicated to Mini-Z.
It has been widely used since 2003, and clubs all over the world are still using it.
The transponders are loved because of the relatively small size, and that you can program new id yourself from the timing bridge. A total of 255 id's are possible.
The transponders weighs just over 1 gram, and are perfect for our Z's.
Here you can see the transponder mounted in a MR-03 and also one underneath the buggy body.
